Hyper-Threading (Default = "Enabled")

This feature allows enabling/disabling of logical processor cores on processors supporting Intel's Hyperthreading Technology.

• "Enabled" means each physical processor core operates as two logical processor cores.
• "Disabled" means each physical core operates as only one logical processor core.
• Hyperthreading is disabled in the RMC with 'modify npar pnum=0 hthread=off'

RAS Setting (Default = "on")

Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability (RAS) Feature

• The "modify npar pnum=<partition_id> ras=on" command enables the RAS feature and disables the HPC feature.
• The "modify npar pnum=<partition_id> ras=hpc" command enables the High Performance Computing (HPC) feature and disables the RAS feature.
