SPEC workstation benchmark goes live -- The SPECwpc group has released the first comprehensive, system-level benchmark based on professional workstation applications. Find out more about what is almost certain to be a worldwide standard.

SPECviewperf getting tantalizingly close -- The SPECgpc group is winding up final testing, bug fixes and packaging for SPECviewperf 12, rewritten from the ground up to be more flexible, faster to update and easier to use. Expect a big announcement within the next few months.
