New SPECapc for 3ds Max 2015 -- The SPEC application performance characterization (SPECapc) group has released a new benchmark for systems running 3ds Max 2015. It reflects updated graphics functionality in 3ds Max, such as real-time and environmental reflections (pictured above).

SPEC/GWPG announces roadmap at Siggraph 2014 -- SPEC/GWPG announced its benchmark roadmap today at Siggraph 2014. Highlights include a new SPECviewperf strategy, upcoming workstation performance-measurement initiatives, and plans for more new SPECapc benchmarks.
