SPEC CFP95 Benchmark: 102.swim

102.swim

  • The program solves the system of shallow water equations using finite difference approximations
  • For CPU'95 the matrix has been greatly expanded to 1024x1024 and several numerical instabilities have been settled.
  • One of the benchmarks most sensitive to the speed of the memory system.
  • Can be parallelized well.

Filetypes

cpi
Rough estimates of some of the basic hardware level activities: CPI, I- and D-cache activity, and TLB activity. This data is only useful for comparing the '95 benchmarks, not for comparing against any particular hardware.
gprof
Full gprof(1) outputs. [Procedure level profiling with call graphs.]
prof
The first 50 lines of the profile taken from the full gprof(1) output.
