<h3>Introduction</h3>
<p>This file defines some of the preprocessor symbols in the source for 541.leela_r, a few of which are allowed to be used for
   portability.</p>

<p>541.leela_r includes a subset of BOOST, in the directory <tt>src/boost/</tt>. </p>

<p>BOOST has many preprocessor symbols which are <span style="text-decoration:underline;">not</span> defined in this flags file.  It
   is expected that most users will not need them.  </p>

   <p>If you believe that you need to set a flag for a preprocessor symbol, and if it is not listed here, you should:</p>

<ol>
   <li>Update this file, and the rest of your kit, using <a href="http://www.spec.org/cpu2017/Docs/runcpu.html#update">runcpu
         --update</a></li>
   <li>If the flag is still not present, <a href="http://www.spec.org/cpu2017/Docs/techsupport.html">write to SPEC</a> to request
      approval for the flag.  Explain why it is needed, relative to the criteria of the <a
         href="http://www.spec.org/cpu2017/Docs/runrules.html#rule_2.1.5">Portability Flags Rule (2.1.5)</a>.</li>

<flag name="DBOOST_HAS_TR1_ARRAY" class="portability">
   If set, indicates that the TR1 arrays (standardized by C++11) are available.
</flag>

<flag name="DLITEVERSION" class="forbidden">
   LITEVERSION causes play to take place on a smaller board.  It could 
   conceivably be used during a debug session, but is forbidden for official 
   SPEC runs.
</flag>

<flag name="DSPEC_AIX" class="portability">
   If SPEC_AIX is set, changes the default for whether to create typedef int64.
</flag>

<flag name="DSPEC_DEFINE_INT64" class="portability">
   If set, causes int64 to be defined.  This is the default, unless SPEC_AIX has been set.
</flag>

<flag name="DSPEC_NODEFINE_INT64" class="portability">
   If set, prevents definition of int64. 
</flag>

<flag name="DUSE_PONDER" class="forbidden">
   USE_PONDER changes how moves are evaluated.  It is not used in the SPEC version.
