This macro is defined when the benchmark is built with MPI threading. MPI is not a supported threading model for this SPEC CPU benchmark, and the SPEC_MPI flag is forbidden.
This macro enables some timing code which also requires MPI. It may not be set for SPEC CPU runs.
This macro may be set by the compilation system when building the speed version of the benchmark with OpenMP parallelization. It may not be set explicitly.
