question about the version
« on: August 01, 2017, 10:57:27 PM »
Now I use SPECvirt_sc2013 v1.1 and the version is as follows:
  SPECvirt_sc2013 V1.1, SPECweb2005 Version 1.11, SPECjAppServer2004 v1.08,
SPECbatch cpu2006-virt v 1.2, but I can not find the version of SPECimap.
Where can I  get the details?
And I want to know the detail version of SPECvirt_sc2013v1.0.
Thanks.

Hi Miles,

The name of the benchmark and its metric is SPECvirt_sc2013. It uses modified versions of the standalone benchmarks SPECweb2005, SPECjAppServer2004, SPEC CPU, and SPECimap. Note that SPECimap was never released - we modified a working copy that the SPEC MAIL subcommittee worked on.

When talking about the benchmark, you can say that it uses modified versions of these benchmarks, but they are in no way comparable to the standalone benchmarks. You can see the design decisions and adaptations we made to the standalone benchmarks in the Design Overview at https://www.spec.org/virt_sc2013/docs/SPECvirt_DesignOverview.html

You can see the difference between SPECvirt_sc2013 V1.0 and V1.1 under the section titled "SPEC VIRT_SCĀ® 2013 Benchmark V1.1 available" at https://www.spec.org/virt_sc2013/
