CPU Transactions per second numerical instability for SERT
(1/1)
Ian Lin:
Hi Sir
I encountered some problems recently testing SERT
Questions about "Transactions per second numerical instability"
(The CPU warm-up parameters have been adjusted, but some highs and lows cannot be resolved)
Is there any other way to solve this problem? thanks.

Hello Ian,
Some variation is expected, but this seems higher than we would like to see. Can you tell us what SERT version you are using, what CPU you are testing, and what client configuration is being used for the testing?
Best regards,
Greg

Hi Ian, I'm sorry you're having issues running SERT. My initial suggestion would be to try to recreate on the latest version on SERT. Instructions for updating SERT2 can be found here: https://www.spec.org/sert2/sert_patches/sert-update.html
If this doesn't resolve your issue, it might be beneficial to open a support ticket including some debug data via the collectlogfiles script. Details on this process can be found here: https://www.spec.org/sert/feedback/issuereport.html
