Check Group

The "Check" benchmark set comprises two tests to help ensure that your Java Virtual Machine and your installation of the SPEC benchmarks are suitable for producing valid results. 200_check is part of the All benchmark group that is run to produce a reportable metric. Its time is not calculated in the metric, but it must run correctly in order to report a result. 999_checkit is not required to be run. It validates that your benchmark installation has not been corrupted, as by accidentally recompiling source files. Some web browsers will not allow 999_checkit the security privileges it needs to examine your benchmark installation. It may also be run as a standalone application.
