SPECjEnterprise® 2018 Web Profile

The SPECjEnterprise® 2018 Web Profile benchmark measures full-system performance of Java EE 7 Web Profile application servers and their supporting infrastructure such as JVM, Database, CPU, disk and servers.

The workload consists of an end-to-end web based automotive insurance brokerage application processing web requests.

The SPECjEnterprise 2018 Web Profile benchmark is a newly designed benchmark. It has been designed from and developed to cover the Java EE 7 Web Profile specification's significantly expanded and simplified programming model, highlighting the major features used by developers in the industry today. The design of the benchmark enables scaling both vertically and horizontally. It is designed to support flexible deployment scenarios. The benchmark is designed to work as a single instance deployment or on many instances and can be deployed on bare-metal, virtualized and public or private cloud environments.
