Sanjay Sharma, SPECpower Committee Member
Sanjay Sharma has been a member of the SPECpower committee since 2007 and served as the vice-chair of the committee for several years. Sanjay was part of the development team for SPECpower_ssj 2008 benchmark and led a team of engineers during the development phase of the SPEC SERT Suite workloads and the Graphical User Interface (GUI).
At present, Sanjay is primary representative from NVIDIA and is part of a technical team developing new benchmarks and updating the Chauffeur framework to support new technologies being incorporated in the upcoming versions of SPEC SERT and SPECpower.
Prior SPEC Roles

Sanjay was the primary representative from Intel (2007-2023) to the SPEC International Standard Group (ISG) and the Open Systems Group (OSG) where he served as the Chair of the ISG Server Efficiency Committee and the Vice-Chair position of ISG's Client Efficiency Committee in 2022.
Industry Role
Sanjay Sharma is a Principal Energy Efficiency Engineer at NVIDIA Corporation. Sanjay has been with NVIDIA since Feb. 2025, and one of his primary functional areas is the performance and power efficiency benchmarking and analysis of desktop and server systems. Sanjay began his career in 1990, after acquiring his bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Bombay, India.
